Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across every page of this site. Accessibility is treated as part of the build, not as a later pass.
What is in place
- A skip link to the main content on every page.
- Semantic headings in a logical sequence, and landmark regions for header, navigation, main content and footer.
- Visible keyboard focus on every interactive element, including the privacy controls.
- Text contrast checked against AA thresholds in both the dark and light sections.
- Text that reflows to a single column and remains readable when enlarged to 200%.
- Motion reduced automatically when the operating system requests it, including the animation on the entry element.
- The privacy dialog can be operated entirely by keyboard and closed with the Escape key.
- No content that flashes, and no audio that starts on its own.
Known limitations
Where we embed material from third parties, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of that material. Where a source we link to is inaccessible, we describe its relevant content in our own text so that nothing essential exists only elsewhere.
